Job responsibilities and duties include:
Responsible for application development using Java/J2EE Technologies, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Object oriented JavaScript, AWS, SpringBoot, MicroServices, Splunk, Web Services and Cloud Solutions.
Design, develop, document, integrate, test and deliver scripts, code and other services employing agile DevOps project life-cycle methodologies, processes procedures, in AWS cloud environment.
Analyze the new requirements as well as gather and validate technical and functional requirements by engaging with client business stakeholders.
Set and adhere to software coding, best practices and style guides to ensure consistency.
Participate in code reviews using tools like Git, Gitlabs.
Support and troubleshoot problems with existing applications.
Assist developers apply best practices to ensure fully working test, training and production environments using Gitlab-CI, Docker, AWS tools and technologies.
Build a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology.
Implement and maintain end-to-end security with AWS and ensure best practices for application security.
Design, build and maintain monitoring and testing infrastructure for our systems.
This position has no direct reports and does not supervise any other personnel.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s).
No Travel; No Telecommuting. Position is project-based on long-term assignments at various unanticipated worksites within the U.S., and relocation may be needed at the end of each long-term project.
